Valve Announces The Most Played Steam Deck Games In 2022!🌟

Valve released a list of the most popular games on the Steam Deck in December 2022, sorted by time played.

At the top of this list is Elden Ring, winner of Vampire Survivors and The Game Awards 2022 Game of the Year award. Rounding out the podium is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, although the game turns seven in 2022.

Despite a large number of games released in 2022, most of the most popular games on Steam Deck were not released this year. The oldest games on this list include 2015's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, 2013's Grand Theft Auto V, 2015's Fallout 4, and 2011's The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The most played game on the Steam Deck in December 2022 was released more recently, Vampire Survivors, released on October 20, 2022.

Bethesda and CD Projekt were the publishers with the most games on this list, with two of the most popular Steam Deck titles. In December 2022, gamers mostly enjoyed single-player RPGs as well as adventure and simulation games on the Steam Deck. Some games, such as Hades and Cyberpunk 2077, enjoyed renewed popularity thanks to the announcement of sequels and updates during The Game Awards 2022 ceremony.

Valve recently announced that Steam Deck supports over 7,000 games that are playable or verified for the console. Alongside the most popular games for December 2022 listed above, Steam Deck features an increasing number of available titles, from AAA titles to lesser-known indie gems.
