Many thought it would take time to break last year's record, but this year's Worlds’ proved everyone wrong. The 2021 final between EDward Gaming and DWG KIA made history, while DRX vs. T1 was the final that will be talked about the most after 10 years.
The finale featured excellent stories between the players and the incredible story of DRX. The game was quite exciting, and that adrenaline was enough to break the viewership record. This rate is recorded as the highest viewership rate of any esports match in history (excluding Battle Royale and Chinese streaming platforms).⚡
