The latest update of Dota 2 has excited players by adding a new hero to the game.
The Dead Reckoning update released by Valve added the hero Muerta to the game. This hero, which we saw for the first time in The International 11, offers players a different experience.
Muerta is introduced as the ghost of a country girl who has come back from the dead to punish the bandits who murdered her family. Valve excited fans by telling the story of the hero in a mysterious way. Muerta's abilities also differ from other heroes.
Muerta's Abilities
Dead Shot: The hero fires a ghostly trick shot to attack an enemy unit or tree. The bullet deals damage on impact and bounces in the targeted direction. Tab deals damage to all units it passes through and stops when hitting a hero. Heroes hit by Tab are afraid of being hit.
The Calling: Muerta summons 4 ghouls that slowly circle around a targeted location. Enemies within the area are slowed and their attack speed is reduced. Ghosts deal damage and silence enemies passing through them.
Gunslinger: Muerta's attacks give her a chance to fire a second shot at another target, primarily at heroes.
Pierce the Veil: Hero spins, making herself immune to physical damage. All attack damage is dealt as magic damage. Also gains bonus attack damage and progressive movement. Meanwhile, it can attack spirit units but cannot damage Magic Immune targets.
The Dead Reckoning update also includes The Quick and the Dead, a new minigame that offers points for kills and assists against set targets during matches. A Dead Reckoning chest also offers enhanced battle stats and new Quickcasting customization options. Improvements to Dota 2's friend list also allow players to have a better experience.
